Edward VII Florin 1907

The obverse features the right-facing bust of King Edward VII, surrounded by the Latin legend:
“EDWARDVS VII D:G: BRITT:OMN: REX F:D: IND:IMP:” — translated as “Edward the Seventh, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.”
With a mintage of 5,947,800, the 1907 issue is a collectible and enduring example of Britain’s silver currency before the First World War.
