Antique Middle Eastern Hammered Dallah Coffee Pot 37cm
A handsome antique Middle Eastern hammered copper with brass fittings dallah, traditionally handcrafted and dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. This elegant coffee pot displays the classic sweeping silhouette associated with traditional Arabic coffee vessels, featuring a long curved spout, domed hinged lid with decorative finial, and a forged iron handle.
The body has been expertly hand-hammered, giving the surface a wonderful texture and character, while the rich natural patina developed over many decades enhances its authentic antique appeal. A superb example of traditional craftsmanship, this piece would make a striking addition to any collection of Islamic metalwork or antique decorative arts.
Standing an impressive 37 cm high, it is an ideal display piece for a mantelpiece, sideboard or cabinet and would complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.
