A delightful original Steiff Baby "Zicky” goat from the 1960s, beautifully made in soft plush with charming character and expressive stitched features. This smaller “baby” version of the classic Zicky goat was designed especially for children, combining Steiff’s renowned quality with a sweet, endearing form that has made it a long-standing favourite among collectors.
This example retains its desirable original identifiers: the Steiff button in ear with original ear tag, the original “Zicky” name chest tag, and the original bell, all of which significantly enhance both its collectability and display appeal. The gentle expression, perky ears, and neatly modelled horns give it real personality, while the survival of these period details makes it a particularly nice example of mid-century Steiff production.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light, even wear consistent with age; gentle patina to tags and bell as expected
